Reviews

I purchased Italian Countryside dinner

"I purchased Italian Countryside dinner plates, with the expectation they would be the same beautiful pattern and quality that I have used for many years. I was very disappointed to receive them. They were what I would have expected a counterfeit version to be. The design was not sharp at all. It was so fuzzy looking it almost doesn't seem like the same pattern. Overall the plates were a disappointment. I will not purchase any new pieces of this pattern. I will stick with legacy replacement items."

Love the plates but one

"Love the plates but one of the plates I ordered is sort of deformed/doesn’t align properly with the rest of plates"

Pleasantly, I was surprised at

"Pleasantly, I was surprised at the quality. I had previously purchased a set of dinnerware from a major store. It was pretty, but paper thin. These 4 plates were more ivory colored and more heavyweight. I will continue to purchase from Mikasa website only."

"I really like plates. They are a little heavier than old ones. I didn’t like the fact, after I received my plates , they went on sale."

They do not match my

"They do not match my current set. They are thicker and a different color. I was very unhappy as this wasn't explained as a possibility anywhere on your website. Because I had to pay for return shipping along with the original shipping, it was as much as my order cost. I will never purchase from you again, and I am telling everyone I know. Customer service could do nothing to help me. I'm sure you will disregard this."

Decline in Quality

"I had a set of these dishes from a while ago and absolutely loved them. I added replacements and extras to my wedding registry and the difference in quality is drastic. The colors are not even close, the plates are slightly smaller and flatter and the details on the edges are not nearly as clear. Extremely disappointing if you’re trying to add to your set. Top plate is the original and the bottom is new."
